Ferragudo, Algarve – Portugal
Ferragudo is a charming harbor village situated next to the Portimao in Algarve, Portugal. There isn’t a lot of tourists or big hotels like in neighboring Portimao but you can find lovely villas and houses to rent there. Ferragudo has typical mood, a characteristic Portuguese villages style, and architecture. There is plenty of pretty narrow streets decorate in very unique ways and a lot of little souvenir shops and restaurants. I was astonished by lovely decorated windows and doors everywhere, by how much attention is paid to all the little details like patterns and coordination of colors. Thanks to all these lovely colors and patterns visible on houses around the town I felt really happy through the rest of our journey.
We have stopped in the middle of the village where local restaurants, shops and a beautiful harbor made watching the sunset a very unique and amazing experience. It was really nice to walk around in piece (as there was not a lot of people) and just relax.
